Woojin Kim (김우진) is former Chief of Radiography Modality, Director of Center for Translational Imaging Informatics, Associate Director of Imaging Informatics, and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also served in the past as the Interim Chief and Interim Fellowship Director of Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Chairman of the Efficiency Committee. In addition, he was one of the principal architects who developed Yottalook™, the premier radiology-centric search engine. He was also a co-founder of Montage Healthcare Solutions, Inc, where he served as the Director of Innovation. Montage Healthcare Solutions was acquired by Nuance Communications in 2016. He served as a CMIO at Nuance until 2019.
Dr. Kim received his B.S. degree in Neuroscience at Brown University and received his M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (now Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania). He completed his transitional internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center followed by residency in diagnostic radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and imaging informatics fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center/VA Maryland Healthcare System.
